1.這個世界不會因為你努力就給你機會,但會因為你看清規則而給你可能。
在職場如果用一句話概括,那必定是這15個字:頂層吃資源,中層拼體系,底層靠執行。
2.先看清自己,再決定要不要往上走。
很多時候一般人只能遵守規則,是改變不了規則的,唯一能做的就是先看懂規則。現實世界裡單純靠努力改變不公,只存在於雞湯文中,跟世界運作的底層邏輯和個體努不努力沒直接關係。你所在的層級和出身,就決定了你的遊戲規則。頂層在分配資源,中層在建構系統,底層的人在完成任務。
頂層吃資源:不做事,只做局。資金、人脈、資訊、政策,甚至一個產業的話語權,都是他們手中的籌碼。他們只有一個重心:讓資源流向對自己最有利的方向。在他們的世界裡,執行力不值錢,控制力才是硬通貨。一般人拼命想做出成績,但只需要一個決定,就能讓你的成績變成他們的資本。
中層拼體系:不拼命,只拼系統。所謂的體系,就是讓事情能自動運轉的能力。他們重點是開拓出市場,把流程跑通,讓團隊裡的每個人都知道自己該幹什麼,怎麼幹,出了問題找誰。他們的價值不是把事情做好,而是讓別人能做得好。他們競爭力在於:能把自己的經驗和資源,變成可大量複製的模板,讓系統自動運行,確保效率和目標的落地。
底層靠執行:眾生皆苦,底層的困境,不是不夠拼努力,而是只會拼努力。底層是那批工作最積極最拼命最敬業,把事情做得最到位的那批人。但他們總拿著最基礎的工資,做著最繁重的工作,承擔最容易被取代的風險,而且還沒有保障。要改命,思考一定要抽離,站在更宏觀的視角看待問題:我目前做的這件事為什麼要做?有沒有更有效率的方法?能不能讓流程標準化?能不能把經驗傳遞給別人…
3.你能承載多少不安,就能獲得多大自由。
一個人所在的層級,就直接決定了你的遊戲規則。一般人要想從底層到中層,核心是從完成任務到建造系統。要學會的不是做得更快,而是讓事情可複製、可移轉、可放大。而從中層到頂層,核心是從管理流程到調配資源。你要關注的不是內部效率,而是外部資源。要讓自己成為資源的連結者和分配者,並確保自己可以在必要的時候,分得一杯羹。想走哪條路?其實路早就擺在那裡,你可以選擇留在原地,也可以選擇換個活法。但人生,最重要的就是想清楚自己:想要的是什麼?
1. The world won't give you opportunities just because you work hard, but it will give you possibilities because you understand the rules.
If you had to summarize the workplace in one sentence, it would be these 15 words: The top level gets resources, the middle level builds systems, and the bottom level relies on execution.
2. Understand yourself first, then decide whether to climb the ladder.
Most people can only follow the rules, not change them. The only thing you can do is understand the rules. Simply changing injustice through hard work in the real world only exists in motivational articles; it has no direct relation to the underlying logic of the world or individual effort. Your level and background determine your rules of the game. The top level allocates resources, the middle level builds systems, and the bottom level completes tasks.
The top level gets resources: they don't do the work, they create the game. Funding, connections, information, policies, even the power to influence an industry are all bargaining chips in their hands. They have only one focus: to direct resources in the direction most beneficial to themselves. In their world, execution is worthless; control is the only true currency. Most people strive desperately for results, but a single decision can turn those results into their capital.
Middle management focuses on systems: not relentless effort, but on the system itself. A system is the ability to automate processes. Their focus is on market expansion, streamlining processes, and ensuring everyone on the team knows their responsibilities, how to do them, and who to contact when problems arise. Their value lies not in simply doing things well, but in enabling others to do them well. Their competitive advantage lies in transforming their experience and resources into easily replicable templates, automating the system, and ensuring efficiency and goal achievement.
Lower-level staff rely on execution: Life is hard for everyone, but the struggle at the bottom isn't a lack of effort, but rather a focus solely on effort. They are the most proactive, hardworking, and dedicated, delivering the best results. Yet, they receive the lowest salaries, perform the heaviest workloads, bear the highest risk of being replaced, and lack job security. To change this, they must detach themselves from the pressure and consider problems from a broader perspective: Why am I doing this? Is there a more efficient method? Can the process be standardized? Can you pass on your experience to others?
3. The amount of anxiety you can bear determines the amount of freedom you gain.
Your level directly determines the rules of the game. For most people to move from the bottom to the middle, the core is moving from completing tasks to building systems. The key is not to do things faster, but to make things replicable, transferable, and scalable. From the middle to the top, the core is moving from managing processes to allocating resources. Your focus should not be on internal efficiency, but on external resources. Become a connector and allocator of resources, ensuring you can get a share when necessary. Which path do you want to take? The path is already there; you can choose to stay where you are, or you can choose to live a different life. But the most important thing in life is to understand yourself clearly: what do you want?
